Our client is a leading law firm. Their Intellectual Property team is consistently rated as one of the leading practices in its field, with a team of Lawyers based in London, across Europe and in Asia Pacific helping the world's foremost companies use intellectual property to protect their investment, to secure and maintain competitive advantage, and to obtain commercial outcomes.

Their London Intellectual Property disputes practice sits within the firm's market leading disputes practice. They are currently working on several significant Patent Disputes, spanning life sciences and tech in particular. The team's track record of acting on the most valuable, complex and important IP disputes for a range of innovative clients is exceptional. They are entrusted by their clients to act on some of the most complex, high profile, and business critical disputes and transactions in the market.

This impressive team is now looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join the team, and advise and assist clients on Patent Disputes.

To be successful in your application you will have:

• Qualified as a Solicitor, and probably gained between 1 and 4 years' experience of patent litigation.
• Ideally, in addition to having a genuine interest in innovation and technology, have a hard science academic background.
• Excellent academics.
• Strong legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and project management skills; foundation level people management and business development skills.
• The aptitude to work on large, high profile and technically complicated matters.
• Willingness to learn and the ability to work hard.
• Commerciality, and the ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
• The ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a relaxed and confident manner.
