About The Company
Pathway Coordinator (Curriculum Leader) SCIC Hub

Beaumont College, Carlisle is a very special place, and we are seeking to extend our work-family in response to increased demand for places at the college. If you have as passion to support some of the most vulnerable special school leavers to fulfil their potential, through support for the planned, high-quality delivery of learning, this role is for you.

About The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Leader who has an intrinsic understanding of sensory learners, and those with a core theme to further develop intentional communication and interaction skills and behaviours. Our Pathway Coordinator roles are term time roles.
As an existing or aspiring educational manager, you will come with skills and experience of teaching, learning and assessment. Your team will include teachers, tutors and learning support colleagues. On a daily basis, you will also work with a skilled and experienced team of student support workers, with small class sizes and high levels of support. Out pathways are highly personalised and alongside Preparing for Adult Hood, learners will each have a bespoke package of health and support interventions including physio and hydro therapy, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy, access to a skilled and experienced team of assistive technologist, and positive behaviour practitioners.
Vocational themes of learning support students to make progress, both educationally and in self-advocacy, confidence, self-belief and resilience in preparation for life beyond college in busy and fulfilling destinations.

If you would like an informal discussion around this role, please email principal@beaumontcollege.ac.uk to arrange this.
