Patient Support Coordinator (6-month temp contract)
Reed are currently working on behalf of a UK wide, private healthcare organisation for a Patient Support Coordinator on a full-time basis for a period of 6 months! Our client were founded in 2003 and have since grown to become one of Europe’s largest specialist private clinics in its field.
This position will be onsite full-time in their Birmingham office, working Monday to Friday from 08:30am – 17:00.
As a Patient Support Coordinator, you would be responsible for ensuring that all patients have a fantastic experience from the first point of contact, through to the end of their treatment pathway. As well as acting as the central point of contact for all telephone queries from both patients and clinic staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcoming and greeting all patients with a warm and friendly demeanour, making them feel comfortable and valued.
• Dealing with all appointment scheduling, efficiently managing appointments whilst ensuring optimal utilisation of their Staff’s time.
• Handling all phone calls professionally and assisting patients with registrations forms.
• Providing general administrative support to the clinic including filing, data entry and handling patient queries.
• Managing the aftercare processes, ensuring that patients have ongoing support throughout their recovery.
• Assisting prospective and existing patients with any and all healthcare-based questionnaires.
• Liaising with Doctors and Nurses within the clinic.

• Be able to demonstrate high levels of written and verbal communication skills.
• Have an understanding of Patient confidentiality and Data Protection.
