Are you an experienced animal Care Assistant or have a love for animals and would like to start a career in the veterinary industry? This role could be perfect for you.

Due to expansion into the Glasgow area, Veterinary Vision are looking for a Patient Care Assistant to build our team at our newly refurbished Newton Mearns site.

This role is a full-time, permanent role working with a friendly and supportive team. The hours are 40 hours per week and shift patterns are either 8.30-17.00 or 9.00-17.30 5 days per week.

Veterinary Vision offers a dedicated ophthalmology referral service for cases referred throughout the UK, with four sites in Lancashire, Penrith, Sunderland and Glasgow. We are equipped with state-of-the-art operating facilities for all types of ocular surgery in a friendly, caring environment where the well-being of the patient is our top priority.

The role will involve: assisting the clinical team during consultations, looking after hospitalised inpatients, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times, and reception/administration duties.

You will ideally have experience working with animals in a veterinary surgery but this is not essential as training will be provided.
