As a Patient Dining – Food Service Assistant with Sodexo you will be the go-to person... the one who knows where everything is. Our team of committed food service assistants are behind us to give a quality service, and we are looking to expand our staff. You will be responsible for gathering our patients' orders and preparing and serving food with care and attention. You will deliver food to the ward and then collect and wash the dishes and silverware, always keeping your work surfaces clean! What you’ll do:

• Decant, label, and store food following company guidelines.
• Receive patient food orders, then pick, pack, and regenerate meals whilst adhering to Food Hygiene rules.
• Ensure accurate recording e.g., temperatures check.
• Clear and wash cutlery and crockery following service, ensuring the level of cleanliness and hygiene for all equipment within the ward kitchens are compliant with company standards.

What you bring:

• Approachable, compassionate, and friendly team player with awesome communication skills (written and oral)
• Computer and maths skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but a can-do attitude and complete customer focus will tick the box.
• Food hygiene level 2 or above would be great, but don’t worry if you don’t have this, we are still keen to hear from you, and a willingness to learn is enough.
