Patient Flow Administrator

To escalate any issues/concerns regarding Patient Flow to the Clinical Patient Flow Manager/Matrons. Liaise closely with wards, the Emergency Department and Clinical Patient Flow Managers to effectively navigate Patient Flow throughout the hospital. Liaise closely with appropriate staff to prioritise transfers in and out of hospital. Maintain excellent working relationships with the multidisciplinary teams. Compile weekend capacity planning information relating to potential discharges, staffing and other useful information for the Command Centre. Assist in the reduction of Emergency Department breaches by ensuring a timely and accurate flow of information regarding availability of beds. Assist in the transportation of repatriation of patients to and from other hospitals to ensure safe and smooth transfer of patients. To book and action all discharged patient transport to ensure timely, smooth exit from the hospital.
