2BM Recruitment Ltd have been appointed by a leading modern manufacturing facility based in Sheffield to recruit a Pattern Maker for their permanent team due to an increase in orders. This renowned organisation, known for their dedication to innovation and quality, seeks an efficient Pattern Maker to join their prestigious environment.
• Salary circa £28k (Depending on experience & skills) plus premium paid overtime

• Day shifts: Monday - Thursday: 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am - 3:30pm

The Pattern Maker will report into the Supervisor and work as part of a small, close-knit team within the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for assembling and preparing patterns for the ceramic mold department by operating 3D sand printing machines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and prepare patterns for ceramic mold department
• Operate 3D sand printing machine
• Clean and prepare products for casting 3D sand printed molds
• Ensure all patterns are measured by the CMM department prior to assembly
• Transfer tool paths to CNC machines and manufacture parts
• Raise NCR's when required
• Ensure equipment is calibrated prior to use
• Use cutting and measuring equipment
We’re extremely keen to talk to experienced Pattern Makers or individuals with related experience in manufacturing, production, castings, or engineering environments. Candidates with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to maintain high standards of housekeeping are encouraged to apply.
As a minimum you must be able to use cutting and measuring equipment, confidently read engineering drawing to interpret customer requirements, and have experience within a similar and transferable skills position, such as a CNC Operator, Machinist, Joiner/Carpenter or a graduate with foundry/castings knowledge.
