In your new role, you will manage and process the entire end to end payroll process with a hands-on approach, for up to 1000 employees, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee payroll calculations are entered/calculated to an exact standard.
You will meet strict payroll deadlines and have a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Whilst staying up to date with any payroll legislation and tax compliance. You will regularly review the new payroll system and look for ways of improvement within the current structure, acting as the main contact for internal stakeholders for any payroll related issues or enquiries.
As part of your role, you will also oversee the different benefit schemes ranging from pensions, healthcare, etc.
What you'll need to succeed:
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and highly professional with the ability to work calmly under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Being adaptable to an ever-changing, fast environment, can lead and support a team.
Have an excellent attention to detail, along with strong analytical skills using Excel and Microsoft skills. You must be able to have strong manual calculation skills and be able to work collaboratively across the Payroll and HR functions.
5 years payroll experience is essential.
