Would you like to work in a busy team and gain lots of exposure to traditional payroll topics, including reward & benefits?
We are recruiting for a Payroll Apprentice to join our team in Swindon on a full time basis. This is a home based position but we often work in the office together once or twice a week.
You will work towards your apprenticeship in Payroll during this time and gain real life experience of how a Payroll & Reward function operates.
This will include but not limited to:
- Support the Payroll Advisor with the day to day payroll administration duties, including payroll processing, email inbox monitoring, reporting and any other adhoc daily duties required.
- Support the Fleet & Benefits Advisor with the administration of our Car Schemes including inbox monitoring, data collation, fuel card administration and any general Fleet Insurance administration.
- Support the Rewards & Payroll Manager with any basic admin duties, including expense accounts set up, data cleansing, employee holiday administration.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes including suggestions for automating, simplifying and standardising
- Act as a point of communication between both internal/external customers, mainly via management/maintenance of shared inboxes. Appropriately resolve verbal and written enquiries, seeking advice from senior staff when required
Ideally you may already have some administration experience, maths at GCSE level and the ability to perform mental arithmetic. We would love you to have excellent written and oral skills, be flexible, discreet and professional. You should enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a meticulous attention to detail.
