SalaryRECfinancial are currently recruiting exclusively for this Leicester based business as they look to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client is a growing manufacturing business with strong roots within Leicester and a strong reputation within it's field. This is a unique and rare opportunity to join this business.
You'll report through to the HR Manager and take full responsibility for the running of the payroll which is paid monthly for over 200 staff.
Ideally you'll possess strong knowledge of NI, Tax, SSP, SMP and possess a minimum of 2 years Payroll knowledge.
The role of Payroll Officer will involve the following;
- Working with the Payroll Service Provider to manage the UK and Irish payroll
- Ensure all data is correct, up to date, and ready to the upload to the payroll platform for processing
- Process all starters and leavers are paid correctly
- Manage the pension schemes across the business
- Work closely with the finance department
- Maintain contact with employees and resolve any payroll queries or questions as required
What do we want as the Payroll Officer?
- 2 years experience within Payroll
- Knowledge of Tax and NI
- Knowledge of SSP, SMP, P45's, pensions (ideal)
- Strong systems knowledge. ADP would be ideal but not essential
- Knowledge of T&A would also be a distinct advantage
What's on offer for the Payroll Officer?
- £30000 - £33000
- 37.5 hrs with 30 mins or 60 min lunch (you choose)
