We have registered a great opportunity for a payroll professional to come onboard a fabulous team and get involved with end to end payroll and some other HR duties in this full-time role. Working alongside the Payroll Manager, your team of 2 will run the weekly and monthly payrolls for 400-500 employees, including fixed term operatives, permanent employees and TUPE'd employees. You will be confident with payroll, producing mail merges and creating payroll-related letters, along with other ad hoc duties.
Role Responsibilities
As the Role some of your duties will include:
- End to end payroll management for up to 500 employees, fixed term and TUPE staff, both weekly and monthly
- Preparing starters and leavers
- Producing and checking reports
- Producing letters (resignation acknowledgments, sick pay, etc)
- Sending contracts via mail merge populations
- Answering any employee queries and other ad hoc payroll administration as required

Working hours are 8.30-4.30 with a 30 min lunch break, Tuesday-Thursday in office, Monday and Friday at home. Interviews will likely be one stage and held in person at their Head Office near Bicester.

Role Experience
You will have solid payroll experience and be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications.
- Good IT skills in particular Excel, mail merges and experience using payroll and HR software and running reports (Cascade a bonus!)
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Capable of conducting basic research, with the ability to understand the company’s services, markets and competitors.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- A full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK.
- A payroll qualification would be a bonus!

Our client’s lovely office is based near Bicester, with free parking and a local bus route from Bicester.
