As a Payroll Specialist you will be repsonsible for all aspects of payroll for all of the company within the NI and ROI jurisdictions. You will need to have accurate attention to detail and able to meet payroll deadlines, be a forward thinker as you will need the abily to assess and improve processes when required. High commication skills, be a team player and efficient in work and organise and manage workloads.
This is initally a fixed term contract for 12 months with the possibility of being made permanent after this successful period.
What will your day to day look like?
- Process payrolls across ROI and NI
- Process weekly and monthly payroll
- Deal and respond in a timely manner to all payroll queries
- Administration of new starters and leavers
- Ensure compliance is followed with filing requirements
- Manage payroll workflows to ensure all transactions are processed on schedule
- Process the montly PAYE submissions on ROS/HMRC
- Carry out payroll reconcilliations
- Process pension contributions
- Calculation of benefit in kindsand submission of statutory returns
- Deal with auditior queries when required
What experience do you need?
- Relevant payroll/finance qualification is an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years experience in payroll processing & SAGE payroll
- Solid understanding of payroll, benefits, social security and taxation related matters
- Strong numeric ability
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with employees at all levels in the business
