Payroll Team Leader

We are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join our Pay and Bill team! 
 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to showcase their expertise in running contractor payroll and managing the pay and bill team. 
As a payroll Team Leader, you would:

• Ensure that weekly payroll is completed accurately and timely
• Manage the existing payroll and billing team, ensuring they feel supported in their everyday roles
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with directors and consultants

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a payroll Team Leader would be:

• Managing and leading Pay & Bill team, providing support, guidance and training
• Leading the team to accurately enter 1,200+ timesheets weekly
• Being the first point of contact for contractor timesheet queries from consultants 
• Exporting payment files 
• Reviewing timesheets for errors and/or omissions 
• Reporting to HMRC
• Generating sales invoices 
• Debtors reviews

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To be successful you will:

• Have experience in managing a team 
• Have previous payroll and billing experience
• Be competent with system usage
• Have great attention to detail
• Prior experience in contractor payroll is favourable but not necessary
• CIPP qualification is favourable but not necessary
