An outstanding Independent Prep School in South West London are seeking a PE and Games Teacher from April 2024 or sooner. This is a full time and permanent position.

This Independent Prep School wants children to love learning for its own sake and to strive for excellence, but also to support its pupils on their own individual journeys - ready to lead happy and purposeful lives. The school promotes sport and pupils to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

The Head is searching for a dynamic PE teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and a real passion for sport and fitness to continue the school's vision for PE and Sport. This is to encourage lifelong participation and enjoyment. By offering a varied and extensive curriculum and striving for sporting excellence the school aims to promote values of determination, resilience and respect. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE and Games across the school up to Year 6 and responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the PE department, including curriculum planning, the extracurricular programme and the day to day administration. The school has recently gone co-ed and this role will be having a focus on teaching Girls' Games and PE for the Girls.
