About the Role
We are seeking new staff to continue the high-quality learning experience that has already been set. We are recruiting for a member of staff to take on a role as a PE teacher. Involving teaching across all year groups. A successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner and have real enthusiasm for teaching. We are looking for a motivated teacher who will look to build on current successes within the Academy.
The school has excellent facilities and the bonus of an on-site community sports centre which is shared between the academy and the wider community. We may interview candidates ahead of the closing date so early application is advised. The advert could be closed at any time.

Responsibilities:

• Organize PE lessons based on the UK’s teaching curriculum
• PE teachers supervise both indoor and outdoor classes, ensuring children compete at the appropriate ability level employing safety, development, and wellbeing
• Motivating school children to take up new sports or physical activities, encouraging them to lead an active lifestyle

PE Teacher Essentials

• QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
• A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
• Up to date knowledge of the curriculum
• Reliability
• Excellent communication skills
