An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic teacher of PE to join a wonderful mainstream secondary school in Solihull. Whether you have years of experience or are gaining your qualification this year, the school are excited to hear from you !

The school are flexible with start dates and can start someone ASAP, April or September! We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher with a real passion for sport and Physical Education. The school has a relentless focus on high expectations and aspirations, and are proud to provide a happy and nurturing environment, so that as well as maturing into well-rounded, confident young people, the students develop a passion for learning

There is an expectation that the successful PE Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 , including GCSE PE. There will also be the opportunity as part of this post to take on the role on a longer term basis after 12 weeks to sign on a AWR rate and receive same entitlement as school permanent staff.

The sucessful PE Teacher would:

• Need to teach a variety of sports and take an active role in an extremely popular extra-curricular programme, showing a clear commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils of all abilities.
• Have a record of delivering consistently good to outstanding lessons and have the ability to develop active learning strategies to challenge and inspire all of our pupils.
• Be able to contribute to, organise, develop and deliver schemes of work, which help promote engagement, excellence, and independence.
