Pe Teacher (Semh)

Are you an enthusiastic PE teacher?

Do you have a passion to encourage children with challenging behaviour?

A position has opened up for a PE teacher in a Special Needs school based in Warrington. This is an all encompassing position which will require the right person to give their all.

The role will be full-time starting immediately! The successful candidate will be required to teach, plan and mark. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified teacher of PE with with a solid experience of working with children with SEMH.

• Patience and compassion
• Excellent classroom management skills- To ensure students are all on a similar level of development
• Outstanding communication skills- Both verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with students, other members of staff and parents
• A calming demeanour- To remain approachable and supportive during exam periods
• Great behavioural management skills- To ensure minimal disruption in the learning and development of students
• Be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in PE

Requirements

Hold a qualification with, or leading to, UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
Be passionate about teaching and your subject
