We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join our SEMH school in Guildford. This part-time role involves covering Year 11 PE theory lessons, with a focus on delivering high-quality education to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for physical education and student wellbeing.
Day to Day of the Role:- Deliver engaging PE theory lessons to Year 11 students, ensuring that all learning objectives are met.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to encourage academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and positive behaviour.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in teaching PE theory at the secondary level.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and the ability to cater to these needs.
