Do you have NHS pension experience? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pension professional to become part of a well-established and high-performing payroll and pension team that is expanding as it takes on new clients.
You will assist the team in providing a high quality, co-ordinated, customer facing service to the Trust. You will be partly responsible for providing the pension service to Trust and clients, as well as assisting the wider team as required, working within strict deadlines. This model allows you to build relationships and provide really great service to your customers.
The team are primarily located at Hammersmith Hospital but the team has adopted an agile model requiring a mix of site-based and remote working where possible.
The Trust is comprised of 5 hospitals (St Mary’s, Hammersmith, Charing Cross, The Western Eye and Queen Charlottes & Chelsea), has an annual turnover of over £1.3bn and an average of 14,000 whole time equivalent staff making us one of the largest Trusts in the country. We also provide an in-house service for Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust, with an average of 8,700 whole time equivalent staff so there is plenty of scope for learning and really getting into this exciting new challenge.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years ESR Pension (electronic Staff Record) experience and NVQ level 4 qualification or alternatively 3 years NHS pension experience, in a similar sized organisation.
To assist the pension manger in delivery of expert advice on NHS pensions for all staff
To provide advice and guidance with pensions on-line to individuals/groups.
Work on errors that are provided by the pensions agency each month
Undertake regular training and keep up to date with all new changes applicable to the pensions department
