Description
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of pension schemes, including data processing, calculations, and record-keeping.
- Review and analyse pension scheme documentation, member data, and contributions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare pension scheme reports, statements, and other communications for clients, trustees, and stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from clients, pension scheme members, and other parties in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pension administration.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in pension legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless delivery of pension services and solutions.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Profile
- Considerable pensions administration experience
- Knowledge of pension schemes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Technically proficient in operational pensions administration
- Data base and systems management including ability to test programs, correct errors and make changes
- May be working towards an accountancy degree
