Position:People & Culture Assistant
Salary: Up to GBP24,000-GBP28,000 (Salary open DOE)
Employment Type: Permanent
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working

Overview
A fast-paced and forward-thinking legal business, situated in South Manchester with a modern and vibrant Head Office, is seeking a People and Culture Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Acts as the liaison between the People Team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Conducts research and analysis on HR trends and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates training and development programs for employees, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Collaborates with the IT department to streamline HR processes and optimize the use of HRIS.
  • Supports diversity and inclusion efforts by assisting with diversity recruitment initiatives and organizing awareness campaigns.
  • Manages employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and promote a culture of appreciation.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of company events and social activities.
  • Conducts ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the People and Culture Business Partners.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A proactive and adaptable individual with a passion for HR and people development.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Working towards or completed CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is an asset but not required.
  • Shows a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
