People Development Administrator
Are you passionate about learning? Do you possess excellent communication and administrative skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, positive, and well-organised People Development Administrator to join the team, working 24 hours per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our Horizon Head Office, located with easy access to the M1 (junction 29A).
You’ll play a key role in the development of our colleagues, serving as the primary point of contact for all L&D queries, and providing full administrative support to the People Development function. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to ensuring that our colleagues receive outstanding service, and that we maintain strong relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for learning and development queries, delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide full administrative support to the People Development department.
- Maintain and coordinate all training activities on our Learning Management System.
- Maintain training records and update qualifications within our HR system.
- Assist in the pre-boarding and onboarding process for new starters, ensuring clear communication with new starters and their line managers regarding training commitments.
- Support with administration of our appraisal process, distributing workbooks to all new starters and creating reports to monitor appraisal completion.
- Create, distribute, and maintain reports as needed.
- Assist with gathering post-training evaluation data.
- Provide administrate and telephone support to the support office when required.
- Represent the company at events to promote our dedication to People Development.
Qualifications and Experience
- CIPD level 3 certification in Learning and Development is preferred but not essential.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Previous pharmacy and logistics experience would be beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience of using and maintaining people related software.
- A full driving license is essential for this role.
