People & Engagement Coordinator - Moreton-in-Marsh

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our People & Engagement Coordinator, you will support the wider people team with a variety of tasks and projects, whilst managing the monthly payroll process.
Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR and payroll procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll:

  • Manage the monthly payroll process and upload for our external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage the payroll inbox, responding to any questions or queries from employees and managers.
  • Be the first point of contact for any payroll queries.

Admin:

  • Process documentation to ensure efficiency and business continuity.
  • Organising and maintaining personnel records.
  • Managing internal records for employee work permits and visas, fixed-term contracts and managing communications with employees
  • Cover all administrative tasks for onboarding, offboarding and internal moves.
  • Conduct exit interviews and update exit interview tracker.
  • Administer benefits and awards to the Company (1 year service awards, discount cards, long service awards).
  • Run weekly reports.

Systems:

  • Be the Bamford Collection HR Systems Expert.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly audits on all HR systems.
  • Produce weekly absence and compliance reports.

Engagement:

  • Support with our annual engagement survey, 'BeHeard'.
  • Send weekly new joiner emails to the business to welcome our new team members.
  • Create ad-hoc posters on Canva for internal engagements.
  • Support the Recruitment and Engagement Manager with engagement initiatives throughout the year for employees.


SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • At least 6 months experience working in a fast-paced HR team with demonstrated payroll experience.
  • Experience with HR software, such as HRIS, and payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of statutory legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and a driven mindset.
  • A flexible and agile way of working.
