People Strategy & Transformation Consultant

We have a new and exciting opportunity for someone with experience in organization Design (OD) who can bring their OD techniques to enhance and enable the transformation of YBS’s capabilities, culture, ways of working, shape and size.

About the Role

YBS is going through a period of transformation and change, this role is key in making sure that we stay aligned to our People Strategy and are set up for the future.

You will be working on key projects in the division to deliver against our People Strategy helping to deliver our ambition.

The work will cover all areas of organization design, key areas of focus will include:

• Working with senior stakeholders to understand capability gaps and support diagnostic work, supplying strong organizational design and effectiveness support.
• Leading, supporting, advising in OD workshop sessions (depending on size and scale)
• Researching external best practice and applying this practically within YBS
• Working across the transformation and People teams to pull together data and draw out insights

About You

You will be working on some key pieces of work and big projects so you must have experience in OD and working on strategic initiatives.

You’ll be able to effectively research, analyse and diagnose business needs

You’ll use your creative thinking skills to successfully make commercially focused, pragmatic recommendations that drive business outcomes

A great team player, you’ll work with the People, business and transformation teams to shape and implement solutions that enable teams to deliver greater customer service and solutions

Using your coaching and influencing skills you’ll help to upskill those around you in applying good Organization Design thinking to solve problems

Ideally experienced working in project environments, you’ll use your organizational skills to support the team in delivering our plans.

It is important that you have strong stakeholder management skills because you will be regularly communicating with business and workstream leads, the people division, and senior stakeholders.
