The role:

We are looking for successful Digital Marketing professionals to join this growing digital first business as a Performance Marketing Manager,

In this role you will be driving traffic to site and own trading across 5 ecommerce platforms. You will be responsible for the growth of these platforms through Paid, Social, Email, Affiliates and Display.

Responsibilities:

• Grow sales profitably across various channels including Paid, Social, Email, Affiliates, Display, PR, and mass media.
• Manage and strategically allocate a marketing budget in excess of £1.5m.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet sales targets.
• Drive CRM activity to enhance customer retention, particularly within the B2B electrical trade sector.
• Lead and energize an in-house marketing team to deliver profitable results.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams on the marketing plan.
• Collaborate closely with purchasing and finance teams to support business initiatives such as selling aged stock and launching new brands/lines.
• Provide data to support better buying decisions and leverage increased trading activity.
• Foster a collaborative, ownership-driven, and accountable team environment.

Candidate criteria:

• Ensure team alignment with sales objectives.
• Manage product pricing to balance sales and profit, monitoring competitor pricing impacts.
• Achieve profitable sales revenue across multiple channels.
• Meet deadlines and take accountability for performance.
• Utilise data analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Excel).
• Lead internal teams and coordinate with external agencies.
• Experience in B2C, D2C, and B2B online sales.
• Communicate effectively in team, project, and campaign management.
• Drive impact in domestic heating/cooling and trade electrical sectors.
• Aim for growth into a senior leadership role.
• Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and trend identification.
• Advanced in website analytics using GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio.
• Manage PPC accounts to achieve sales and ROAS targets.
• Knowledge of SEO.
• Experience in affiliate marketing and aggressive sales growth.
• CRM and email marketing expertise for customer retention and LTV growth.
• Shopify experience is a plus.
