Performance Officer - DEE05427

This is a key role in the Council’s Transformation and Performance Service, within the Chief Executive’s Services, responsible for delivering public performance reports by supporting performance benchmarking, service planning, performance monitoring system and improvement processes.
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and the Dundee City Square office, you will work Full time, 37 hours per week.
If you have any queries regarding this vacancy, please contact Sandra Lorimer by email sandra.lorimer@dundeecity.gov.ukYou will have a degree and or professional qualification depending on experience including a business management related discipline.You will be supporting the Chief Executive’s Transformation and Performance Service in the management and promotion of performance management and improvement across the Council by delivering consultancy to Services through managing the Local Government Benchmarking process and the use of the digital performance management system (e.g. Pentana), and supporting facilitation of performance management and self-assessment techniques and drafting reports.You will have experience in producing plans and action plans and in managing data in a digital system used by a wide range of people. You will be able to deliver training and business case style presentations and meetings, both in person and using new media. You will also have experience in statistical analysis, monitoring and evaluation systems along with experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
You will have exceptional organisational, administrative and planning skills with
excellent ability in analysing and presenting data and evaluation evidence, report writing and presentation skills and understanding of public sector performance management issues.
