Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer

About the role:

Astute's Power team are partnering with one of the leading energy providers in the UK, They are looking to recruit a Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer to cover their sites in the London area.

The Lead Engineer plays a vital part in driving the asset engineering performance, leading the end-to end projects on the fleet of assets.

Responsibilities and duties:
As the Performance Optimisation Lead Engineer you will:

* Manage the performance, including both commercial and technical, in power/heat plants.
* Use operational insight to enhance performance from energy, petrochemical and asset-based industries.
* Be involved engaging with stakeholders and overseeing on-site projects.
* Deliver and challenge customer service and cross business commitments within a 24/7 environment.
* Ensure health and safety is adhered to across complex commercial environments.

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* A qualification within engineering or equivalent (degree or HNC)
* Proficient in designing, commissioning, and maintaining diverse engineering assets.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (CDM, HASWA, IGEM, etc.)
* Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
* IT Proficient

Personal skills:
The Station Manager role would suit someone who is:

* Experienced with an understanding of energy technology, inc energy centres, distribution networks and heat pumps.
* Experienced with delivering business objectives and driving asset engineering.
* Customer focused.
* Engineering background desired
* Great work ethic

Salary and benefits of the Operator role:

* �63,035 - �79,595 DOE
* Pension
* Holiday pay
