Main Areas of Responsibility
The main responsibilities of your role will be:
- To deliver the Music in Secondary Schools Trust instrumental programme with KS3 Trumpets/Cornets (max 15 students at a time)
- To deliver small group and 1-2-1 tuition on Trumpet and Trombone
- To prepare students for Trinity Graded exams and GCSE Performance Exams
- To lead smaller enrichment ensembles and support the larger ensembles
- To support with performances, in and outside of the Academy
- To monitor and audit the condition and allocation of instruments
What We are Looking For
We are looking to recruit an experienced, talented, energetic, reliable and inspiring individual to be part of the peripatetic music team. You will need to be able to perform confidently to a high level as well as demonstrating a passion for teaching young people.
You would be required on a Monday for 7 hours, between 8.30am-4.00pm. This will be paid at GBP30 per hour.
