SalaryA local premier care organisation is now looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join them as a Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant (nights) , helping to ensure residents get the overnight support they need across several Northumberland care homes.
As a Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant, you will have a greater level of variety in your day-to-day as you provide more advanced care (such as medication and assessments), guide more junior team members to advance their skills, and - above all - support residents across the area to live well, stay safe, and have the best possible home-living experience.
You won't be limited to just one home but will move across a select number of local care homes for extra flexibility. These homes are all within a 20min drive of each other, and your mileage between homes will be reimbursed.
Unfortunately, as public transport during unsociable hours is highly limited in this area, you will need to have a driving licence and a car to be considered for this role.
This is a permanent, full-time position for a Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant ( night shifts only ).
Person specification :
* ( Essential ) Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* ( Essential ) Previous professional experience handling medication
* ( Essential ) UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle
