A new client with a beautiful 10 bedroom Chalet in Morzine is seeking a year round Chalet Management couple to care for and take full ownership of the day to day operations of the private property.
The Chalet although large has never been fully occupied and it is unlikely that the client would ever use all 10 bedrooms. The family have owned the property for several years and the maximum number of people it has ever hosted is 12. The role will require cooking to a family standard and the clients are not fussy but like to eat out on occasional and large buffet style breakfasts.
The candidates would be expected to provide daily cooking and housekeeping while the property is occupied and the role will require the following duties to be performed to a very high standard.
- Daily Housekeeping
- Arranging and decorating interiors
- Cooking to a family standard
- Snow Clearing
- Maintaining all exterior areas
- Driving
- Shopping/provisioning
- Managing exterior contractors/suppliers
- Airport runs
The property will never be rented commercially and the shoulder season can be very quiet so it is important to remain focused and diligent during the empty months and maintain focus on the maintenance and upkeep of the property and its environs.
The client is seeking friendly and flexible people who are used to an Alpine environment, mature and professional individuals who rarely drink and do not only see the Alps as a lifestyle choice but remain focused on the daily operation of the property and the principal’s needs especially when they are in residence. There are tow vehicles available to the candidates for practical work purposes and these ned to be kept in a guest ready condition at all times. The family occasionally use the property during the summer months, they are b British but based in Dubai. They Principals have two children in their early 20’s.
A good standard of accommodation is on offer for the right couple. This is a self-contained apartment with a side entrance comprising of living room, bedroom and bathroom btu doe sot include a kitchen. During occupancy of the client the Couple should prepare enough food for both he clients d for themselves. The role will require some physical work so candidates with active lifestyles who enjoy alpine pursuits are desirable.

This is a very desirable position in a well known ski resort which offers year round accommodation and salary seeking professional dependable people with a history in the industry.
