About the Planning Lawyer role:

Are you an experienced Planning Lawyer, looking to join an ambitious Local Authority?

Sellick Partnership are currently working with a well-established local authority in the East Midlands that are seeking a Planning Lawyer on a permanent basis.
The role is ideally hybrid working with flexible working patterns to suit other commitments, and in-person committee meetings on a 3-week rotating basis.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals that are wanting to join an experienced, knowledgeable, and tight knit legal team to lead from the front on planning matters

The successful candidate will have Planning law experience, ideally from a public sector background; however candidates of all planning law backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The successful Planning Lawyer will have initiative, have a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a real commitment to the job, and ideally have previous dealings with Local Authorities.

As a Planning Lawyer you will be responsible for, but not limited

  • planning agreements
  • s106
  • covering matters of all complexities
  • enforcement work
  • in person planning committees
