SalaryLondon borough of Barnet are looking for permanent members of staff to join their team within the intervention and planning team!
Great opportunity to join permanently to Barnet; low and manageable caseloads, permanent managers and good opportunities for training and promotion. Hybrid working arrangements in place; roughly 2 days minimum in the office but this will be determined by the needs of their families, team meetings, supervision etc but a degree of flexibility and this can be negotiated with line manager.
The council have a 'Good' Ofsted rating and offer free parking. The working environment consists of new offices with good transport links; Colindale tube station is a 5 minute walk and local bus routes within walking distance. There is an inhouse mental health service working to support Social Work teams with direct work.
Salary package : £39,951 - £44,019 p/a (basic salary) Plus a 25% Retention bonus added on top to all candidates paid from the start of their employment (this will vary depending on whether they are appointed at the top, middle or bottom of this scale) In addition to the comprehensive suite of employee benefits offered by the Council, this role comes with the option to choose a lower-cost pension scheme and receive a supplement of [up to] 17% of the base salary'.
