We are expanding and require an experienced Personal Assistant to support our growth. We are a small team of 6 and are looking for a person who is hands-on and thrives in a positive dynamic environment.
Our studio is based in a creative industrial estate in Leyton, with inspiring neighbours and good transport links. You will be joining a supportive, fun and hardworking team.
This is a key role within the business, and you will be expected to show initiative and deliver tasks efficiently with attention to detail. A can-do attitude is essential along with strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Data entry, tracking and processing of receipts and other basic bookkeeping tasks
· Chasing outstanding payments
· Maintain a pristine, safe and organised studio
· Coordination of teams’ attendance and holiday schedule
· Ordering office and studio supplies and research new deals and negotiating with suppliers
· Managing utilities and suppliers
· Placing purchase orders
· Booking travel arrangements
· Submit and reconcile expense reports
· Managing courier shipments
· Filing and organisation of paperwork
· Update and maintain office policies and procedures
· Ensure the studio runs effectively
Requirements and skills:
· Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
· Excellent command of English Language (verbal and written)
· Proficiency in both Mac and PC operating systems
· Working knowledge of office equipment i.e. printers
· Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Familiarity with Xero is a plus
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent education required
· 3 years of administrative assistance experience
· Experience in a similar role (specific experience within the field of fashion or manufacturing would be an advantage)
12 month fixed-term contract on PAYE
Immediate start
Part-time position up to 30 hours per week, across 3 to 5 days with flexible hours.
Salary guide £26,000 - £30,000 pro rata
The role requires an in-person presence at the studio playing a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the business. Option of working from home after probation period.
