Contract- Permanent part-time (flexible 4 hours per month)
Location- Malpas, Newport
A personal assistant is required to support a child with cerebal palsy. Also, required to support the child with activities agreed by the parents. Due to the child’s mobility, they will need assisting at times. Previous experience of working in a caring environment would be desirable.
You will need to be patient, flexible, energetic, trustworthy, empathetic, have good communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative. You will need to be flexible to suit the needs of the employer and be available to work flexibly. Own transport is essential and would need the required business insurance to cover themselves.
