Personal Care Assistant

Lady with Spinal Cord Injury is looking for a friendly and outgoing Personal Carer in the Barnstaple area for support at home.
The hours are 8am till 12 noon on a 4 day on 4 day off rota.
There could be travel opportunities if suitable.
You will join a small team of 2 and must be able to cover in an emergency.

You will assist with all aspects of Personal Care and spinal cord injury care.
Some days will be mainly assisting with domestic tasks, other days we might be out all morning.

Previous care experience is preferred but not a necessity, you will be given full training and ongoing support from my experienced PAs.

I am an 50 year old active outgoing, happy person. I like to go out and to travel.

I enjoy cooking and baking.

About you:

The right candidate will be outgoing, sociable, flexible and reliable; with a good sense of humour and a respectful attitude.
You will have excellent communication skills.
This would ideally be combined with being able to take direction whilst still recognising when to use own initiative, or when to take a step back.
