The Role

Our UK Princess Cruises team based here at Carnival House works in partnership with our global offices to offer guests the MedallionClass experience others simply can’t, and it’s exclusively for everyone. Sailing to over 300 destinations and offering the best experiences around each and every one of them. With multicourse meals to remember, Broadway-style shows, comedy acts and bands, and comfortable staterooms all included in one of the best value holidays around. The Love Boat promises something for everyone because when you don’t need to worry about anything, you can fall in love with everything.
The Outbound Personal Cruise Representative is accountable for meeting individual sales targets by proactively working to secure bookings from assigned guest leads. As a trusted expert in our product, the Outbound Personal Cruise Representative uses their knowledge and expertise to provide existing and new to brand guests with tailored recommendations and customised cruise packages. Always giving a 1st class service and with the aim of generating new & repeat business.

Consistently delivering against all sales related targets and contributing to the overall business’s success, you will:

  • Proactively contact assigned leads, through both telephone & email, to develop relationships and generate sales
  • Ensure all opportunities to maximise revenue are utilised, through upgrades, cross selling and additional products / services.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of current commercial focuses, campaigns & programme launches and proactively markets these to your assigned leads.
  • Maintain excellent product and brand knowledge to aid the close of a sale.
  • Contribute to feedback on the success of campaigns & programme launches, suggestions on new initiatives to secure more sales and share guest sentiment
  • Responsible for processing credit/debit card transactions confidentially and accurately
  • Establish, manage, own, and develop relationships with all assigned guest leads, both past & new to brand to generate repeat bookings.
  • Confidently handle challenging situations, proactively owning, and resolving any issues and complaints.


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK13 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with hybrid working in our Southampton office.
About You
Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:

  • GCSE/O level English language and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Pro- active Sales and service experience in a customer focused environment, with proven success in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to make decisions within the boundaries of the role and problem solve.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
