Title: Personal Development Coordinator
Location: South Yorkshire
Pay: £22,769 FTE (Pro-rata £20,141.81) per annum + benefits
Duration: full time - 37 hours per week, term time - 40 weeks per year, permanent
Reed are seeking a number of Personal Development Coordinators to join the Student Support Service team. This is a newly created position in which you would be responsible for the creation and delivery of an exciting and engaging programme of Personal Development activities and events for College learners to enhance their experience.
The key duties of this Personal Development coordinator will be to create a programme of Personal Development activities, available to all learners and working with learners to understand key topics and themes. You will organise, coordinate and deliver events to develop the essential life and personal skills of students, including health, wellbeing and learning opportunities.
You will build effective partnerships with external organisations, who will provide guest speaker delivery and lead on learner voice activity.
What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?
You will have experience of working within an educational environment, ideally within a Further Education/Post-16 environment. Working as a team, you will be responsible for organising, co-ordinating, promoting and delivering events to develop essential life and personal skills of learners.
You will have qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent, and a Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar. You will also be able to demonstrate good customer service skills and be able to work with respect and confidentiality.
