The role:
The successful Paralegal will work alongside the team’s fee earners, helping manage a caseload of fast-track cycling accident claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Paralegal or Legal PA who is eager to expand their legal knowledge and skills. You will engage in a broad range of tasks and contribute to the efficient running of caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing CNFs (Claims Notification Forms) and letters of claim
- Drafting schedules of special damages
- Obtaining supporting evidence
- Drafting client and witness statements
- Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
- Instructing engineers
- Drafting court documents
- Obtaining, reviewing, and collating medical records
- In depth legal research
- Drafting letters, emails, and advice to clients
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing court bundles
- Managing billing and disbursement payments
- Background in Claimant Personal Injury is essential
- Exposure to cycle accident claims is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting documents
