Personal Injury Paralegal

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a top-ranked Personal Injury practice within an extremely well-regarded UK law firm. They are renowned for their expertise and commitment to client care, and are currently seeking a dedicated Paralegal or Legal PA with a Claimant Personal Injury (PI) background, ideally with some exposure to cycle accident claims.
The role:
The successful Paralegal will work alongside the team’s fee earners, helping manage a caseload of fast-track cycling accident claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Paralegal or Legal PA who is eager to expand their legal knowledge and skills. You will engage in a broad range of tasks and contribute to the efficient running of caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing CNFs (Claims Notification Forms) and letters of claim
• Drafting schedules of special damages
• Obtaining supporting evidence
• Drafting client and witness statements
• Preparing instructions to medical experts and counsel
• Instructing engineers
• Drafting court documents
• Obtaining, reviewing, and collating medical records
• In depth legal research
• Drafting letters, emails, and advice to clients
• Liaising with clients
• Preparing court bundles
• Managing billing and disbursement payments

About you:

• Background in Claimant Personal Injury is essential
• Exposure to cycle accident claims is highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting documents
