Personal Tax Assistant

Reed Practice are currently representing a Huddersfield based Chartered Accountants who are looking for a Personal Tax Assistant to join their team due to a period of growth. This firm has a great progression pathway in place and are open to supporting any further studies. Duties:

• Responsible for assisting seniors/managers when supporting clients in managing their Personal Tax affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximising tax efficiency
• Assisting reviews of financial documents to ensure all relevant information is included in SA returns
• Assist seniors/managers when providing tax planning advice to clients to minimise tax liabilities
• Be able to keep UpToDate with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure continued compliance
• Communicate effectively with clients to address any queries or concerns regarding their tax affairs
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processed and improve overall efficiency
• The role requires a strong understanding of tax laws, excellent organisation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Assist the Tax senior/manager with ad hoc assignments for our high wealth clients
• Manage a small portfolio of clients

About you:

• 1 year working in tax preparation
• Working towards or willing to start ATT (funded by the practice at First Intuition)
• Confident communicator
