Job Description

The Key responsibilities:

  • Providing expert Personal Tax advice to a diverse client base.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their tax affairs are correctly handled.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities to minimise client's tax liabilities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Supporting the wider tax team with complex tax issues.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Personal Tax Consultant should have:

  • A relevant tax or accounting qualification. (ATT/CTA)
  • Proven experience in a tax consultancy role within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and its application to Personal Tax.
  • A Self-starter with a with a high level of resilience and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
