SalaryWe are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, on their requirement for a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their highly modern and recently refurbished offices in Borehamwood.
This position promises diversity, independence, and the chance to collaborate with a wide spectrum of clients. Your role will involve addressing client inquiries, necessitating a strong commitment to confidentiality, transparency, and consistently surpassing expectations.
Key responsibilities:
- Compiling annual tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and various forms such as P11Ds/PSAs/ATEDs, catering to non-resident landlords.
- Managing accounts for multi-property rentals.
- Assisting in managing inquiries from HMRC.
- Preparing basic capital gains computations.
- Drafting, amending, or approving letters and emails for supervisor review.
- Crafting responses to client or third-party communications, seeking additional input when necessary.
- Generating other required forms as mandated by HMRC or third parties.
Experience required:
Ideally, you will possess experience in a similar position, with a minimum of 2 tax seaons under your belt. Additionally, you should:
- Be actively pursuing ATT/CTA qualification.
- Demonstrate a sound grasp of taxation software.
- Exhibit a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, notably Excel.
- Possess the autonomy and self-management skills necessary for effective independent work.
