Our client is a renowned local accountancy practice with a sterling reputation for their proactive and client-focused professional approach. The firm is undergoing a period of sustained growth and as such they are looking for a new member to join their Personal Tax team based out of their Exeter office.

This position is open both to experienced candidates with several years' experience in Personal Tax looking to take on more complex work and upskill the more junior team members, and to candidates looking to embark on the next step in their career into the world of tax. All levels are encouraged to apply!

The Responsibilities:

• Accounts preparation and Landlord tax returns.
• Personal tax returns for HNWI and directors.
• Tax returns for sole trader clients.
• Income and expenditure accounts preparation.
• General administration duties to support the team.

The Candidate:

• ATT qualified or in the process of studying either ATT or CTA with experience in Personal Tax compliance.
• Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme tax credits, P11d benefit forms and pension contributions would be preferred but not essential.
• Experience of working within a practice environment.
• Ambition, a keen attention to detail and team -player attitude.
