Your new firm
Your new firm is a well respected accountancy practice with a national presence, supporting a range of OMB / SMEs across the UK. A strong local offering, they are based near St Helens and support a range of different clients across the North West. The firm provides a range of accountancy services, including accountancy, business advisory, audit, tax, payroll and outsourcing. Due to continued growth in their tax department, they are now looking to bring in a Personal Tax Senior to support the current tax department managing their own portfolio.

Your new role
Working closely with the two partners in this Merseyside office, you will run and manage your own Personal Tax portfolio. Joining the firm as either Personal Tax Senior or Semi Senior, you will handle mainly compliance for a range of directors, business owners, sole traders and HNWIs. Your new role will mainly consist of dealing with the perpetration, review and submission of Personal Tax returns whilst assisting your portfolio with ad hoc advisory matters. You will act as the go-to contact for your portfolio of 150-200 clients supporting with the above, communicating with HMRC and handling any other accountancy related matters.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a Personal Tax background, having supported a mixed client base in the UK in the past. You will likely be studying for your ATT or have finished your chosen qualification and now want to progress with a varied portfolio. You will need to be confident in preparing, reviewing and submitting Personal Tax returns as well as supporting with ad hoc advisory matters.
