AddressForecourt Attendant (Petrol Station)
Malcolm Waite Limited in Sandwich are currently looking for a Forecourt Attendant to proudly serve fuel to our loyal customers in New Street, Sandwich.
Previous experience in a similar position is welcome but not essential.
The successful applicant must be willing to work on their feet throughout the shift to hand serve all grades of fuel to our customers. They must man the shop and take payment for all goods, ensure the premises remain clean and tidy, including shop stock.
The applicant must be fit & energetic, be a clear communicator and posses good people skills (customers & team members). Flexibility to new shifts and shift changes is to be expected.
Ensuring that a positive customer relationship is maintained at all times as well as ensuring accurate dispensing of fuel is essential.
The main purpose of the job
- Accurately hand-serve Fuel (Diesel, Unleaded, Excellium).
- To offer to hand wash customers windscreens and offer customer vehicle levels checks.
- To operate the till and take payment.
- To tidy and stock the shelves each day.
- Empty bins and tidy forecourt.
- Open Up / Lock Up.
- Handle cash and cash up.
- Understand and operate till.
- Basic maintenance of premises.
- Any other duties required by the directors.
Key requirements for the position
- To be impeccable in personal appearance and hygiene.
- To be free of any criminal convictions (present or spent)
- To be physically fit enough to be able to perform the role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.41-£10.42 per hour
