About Us The Office for Postgraduates, Research and Engagement (OPRE) provides a holistic support service for the University of East London’s research, knowledge exchange and engagement strategies, policies and activities including the Research Excellence Framework. Providing support for research bid development, liaison with funders and post award delivery, ethics, and PGR development the team leads initiatives to foster collaboration across the university and to enhance our public and community engagement. This team leads the development and delivery of the Researcher Development Programme.  About the Job The Postgraduate Research Student Adviser will play a key role in the support and development of our postgraduate research students, including designing and delivering workshops within their areas of expertise. The post holder will also develop activities which enhance the PGR student experience and support our PGR students with induction, orientation, progression, and career development.  About You With your knowledge of Vitae Researcher Development Framework and experience of organising and delivering training and development for postgraduate researchers, you will develop new content responding to the needs of our PGR community to complement our existing offer. We are looking for a colleague with knowledge of mixed methods approaches to research such as SPSS, Qualitative Data Analysis, and/or experience of undertaking participant interviews, focus groups, and surveys to bring their knowledge and experience to the team.
