Meridian is working with a Leading UK Pharmacy to appoint a Pharmaceutical Compliance Auditor based in Harlow.

  • Salary: up to £35k – dependant on experience
  • Hybrid Role
  • Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm

As our Pharmaceutical Compliance Auditor, you will take the lead in developing & implementation a yearly audit schedule and report on compliance audits across different departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Our Pharmaceutical Compliance Auditor will need to stay current with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices to ensure that compliance audits are up-to-date and effective whilst reviewing standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accuracy.

You will be heavy involved with risk management and mitigating risks within our company alongside delivering training to colleagues where improvement is required.
You will be an experienced Pharmaceutical Compliance Auditor in the Pharmaceutical sector with a proven track record in implementation and conducting audit checks coupled with a solid experience of MHRA.

Pharmaceutical Compliance Auditor: Key accountability's

  • Develop an annual assessment plan ensuring that areas of higher risk or significance are prioritised.
  • Review quality measures across all sites, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
  • Identify and assess the organisation’s quality and governance compliance, and strategic risks.
  • Monitor the implementation of assessment recommendations, corrective and preventative actions, and verify that the identified issues are addressed effectively
  • Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of quality and governance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that the organisation complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, corrective and preventative actions, and verify that the identified issues are addressed effectively.
  • Complete document reviews relating to client care – ensuring that regulatory standards are met and guidelines for improvement are shared.
  • Conduct inspections on training documentation and provide action plans for improvement.
  • Complete reviews on health and safety protocols – escalating issues where any are found.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit procedures, findings, and recommendations for future reference and reporting.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports summarising areas for concern
  • Keeping up to date with advancements in auditing standards and practices by pursuing relevant certifications and attending training programmes.
  • Maintaining a professional and up to date knowledge of key regulators in nursing (CQC, CI and RQIA), GPhC and MHRA to assess compliance to regulations and present recommendations for improvement with some authority.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and external auditors.
  • Communicate recommendations for improvement to Senior Quality Excellence Manager and Process owners.
