Pharmacist Manager

With a network of pharmacies and a dedicated team of over 20 Pharmacists, our client is committed to excellence in patient service and professional development.

You will be a vital part of a busy pharmacy in Bath (BA12) dispensing 20,000 items per month, deeply integrated with a GP Practice, and supported by a cohesive team comprising an ACD, 5 Dispensers, and 2 Counter Assistants.

This is a full time, permanent position as a Pharmacist Manager, working 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm).

Key responsibilities:

• Execute medication dispensing tasks with precision, including compounding, packaging, and labelling medicines.
• Maintain quality control over medications through vigilant monitoring of drug therapies and providing expert interventions.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, directing the workflow of Technicians, ensuring accurate preparation and labelling of medicines, and meticulously verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

Personal specification:

• GPhC registered Pharmacist with a passion for patient care.
• Hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) coupled with completed pre-registration training.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences, including the general public and healthcare professionals.
• Genuine concern for the welfare and well-being of patients.
