Job Description
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists and support staff.
- Ensure the provision of a safe, efficient, and customer-focused pharmaceutical service.
- Implement and maintain high standards in the dispensary and other areas of the pharmacy.
- Drive the commercial success of the pharmacy through proactive management.
- Comply with all legal and professional requirements related to pharmacy practice.
- Oversee the delivery of additional services such as Health Checks and Medicines Use Reviews.
- Manage inventory and finances within the pharmacy.
- Contribute to the overall success and reputation of the company in the retail and health care sectors.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist Manager should have:
- MPharm degree or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- A minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
- Valid DBS check.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and legal compliance.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and service to customers.
