We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A Prison located in South East London.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed. You will also be working autonomously enabling you to show plenty of initiative in handling a wide range of situations.
Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £55,000per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:
- Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
- Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
- Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
- Relevant post qualification
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital or prison environment.
