Boots are seeking a patient-focused Pharmacist, to join our committed Boots team based at The Parade in Minehead, Somerset
Minehead is a fantastic seaside holiday destination, there are beaches to explore, a fishing quarter and an historic harbour. This stunning town has a beautiful, tree-lined Avenue to the town center where you can visit a selection of tea rooms, pubs and independent shops.
Minehead is also an ideal base to explore the surrounding historic villages and beautiful countryside, including Exmoor National Park. A great place to live and work.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within a busy service lead store; you will have the support of a team of experienced ACT's, dispensers and pharmacy advisors, as well as a strong retail management support team and a dedicated Area Manager and Director of Stores.
This position comes with the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification, fully funded by Boots!
We will also consider newly qualified pharmacists for this position.
Pharmacy Opening Times For This Store are:
Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5:30pm
Sunday - Closed
Although we are advertising a full-time position, anyone who is looking for part time hours will also be considered

• Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
• Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
• Have a love of working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
• Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
• Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
